Hello all.  My name is Vanessa and though I am originally from Oakland, CA, I currently call Washington state home. 

I have a degree in film theory from UC Berkeley and enjoy writing about movies and television.  I studied extensively in World War II films (propaganda films), horror films and Japanese films.

I also love television and have written fan fiction for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Oz and Queer as Folk. I currently don't watch a lot of drama, but veer towards the cheesetasticly guilty pleasure of reality tv. 

I've written a couple of screenplays and am currently working on another.
